Luminor 1950 8 Days GMT
Panerai's Luminor 1950 8 Days GMT was the first watch produced in the Manifattura collection in 2005, so it has some historical significance for the watchmaker. It is powered by Panerai's P.2002/1 movement, which features an impressive array of complicated functions. Three spring barrels substantially increase the power reserve over the vast majority of hand-wound movements and gives the watch extremely useful functionality. It also includes dual time zones to conveniently keep time at home and elsewhere.
The Luminor 1950 8 Days GMT has been designed with style in mind, with a brushed finish around the case contrasting beautifully with the polished bezel. Available in either stainless steel or polished 18ct pink gold, it is a masterpiece of watchmaking innovation. In addition, it is water-resistant to 100 meters, which confers is the additional quality of being able to be worn anywhere, in keeping with Panerai's tradition.
